Each February, Pinedale puts on a Winter Carnival-a rowdy multi-day event on the (almost) backend of our long winter. Visitors and locals alike flock to the skijoring competition-a wily western experience you have to see to believe. Brave competitors put their engineering and art skills to the test for the always-chaotic Cardboard Classic sled race, and the new Snow King and Queen start their reign at the Snow Ball, where live music and award-winning craft brews abound.
