They're called 4-wheelers, ORVs (Off-Road Vehicles), and ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles). They have become increasingly popular with outdoor recreationists because they cover terrain quickly and have become a favorite way to explore the outdoors.
There are hundreds of miles of back country roads and trails throughout the Bridger-Teton National Forest that offer tremendous ATV recreation opportunities. Remember that motorized vehicles are not allowed in designated areas of the Bridger and Gros Ventre Wildernesses. Those interested can pick up rules and regulations regarding ATVs from the local Forest Service.
