Lakeside Links is an 18-hole disc golf course located at Lakeside Lodge on the shore of Fremont Lake, four miles north of Pinedale. The course is open to the public year-round and it is always free to play without reservations.
Scorecards, course maps, and disc rentals are available at Lakeside Lodge. Discs and club memberships to the Wind River Disc Club may be purchased through the WRDGC President, Troy Later (contact info below). Club memberships are optional, but allow you to participate in tag rounds and bi-weekly league tournaments.
Take US-191 to Fremont Lake Road on the east side of Pinedale. Follow Fremont Lake Road for 3 miles and turn left on Forest Service Road. Stay to the left when the road turns into a Y, and then turn right into Lakeside Lodge.
What is Disc Golf?
Disc golf is played much like traditional golf, but instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc. A disc is thrown from a tee-off area to a target. As a player progresses down the fairway, he or she must make each consecutive shot from the spot where the previous throw has landed. Finally, the disc lands in the basket and the hole is completed.
