Enjoy all your winter sports in Pinedale. Whether it's snowmobiling, downhill skiing or snowboarding, cross-country skiing, winter fishing, sled dog racing, snowshoeing, or traditional down hill sledding, we always have snow in the mountains! Pinedale is most popular as a snowmobile destination, but has become a place that snowgoers love because of White Pine Ski Area, one of Wyoming's most accessible ski areas just 10 miles from Pinedale (video).
Pinedale is a mountain town that sits right in the middle of the most popular snowmobiling trail systems in Wyoming – the Wyoming Range and the Continental Divide.
Opened in 1940, White Pine Ski Area is only a ten minute drive from Pinedale.
Pinedale's XC trails are designed for absolute beginners thru die hard athletes all within minutes from town.
Grab your tackle for a day of ice fishing and, believe it or not, late fall fly fishing. If you can stand the cooler temps, challenge yourself on the area's famous rivers and lakes.
Twirl to your hearts content or practice your skills between the hockey nets.
Whether you are a recreational or professional musher or ski-jorner, your dogs will appreciate their "time on the trail" here.
