See the Veteran’s Memorial Monument – 68,000 pounds of glossy, black granite, engraved with the names of those who served surround a central column that is topped with a bronze sculpture of two soaring eagles with the inscription “Honor, Service, Pride.” Members of Fremont Peak VFW Post 4801 conducted extensive research with veterans’ names going back several generations to the Spanish American War and we continue to honor these men and women every day at American Legion Park.
