The Wind River Mountain Range offers many rock climbing opportunities such as bouldering to long, multi-pitch climbs. The Cirque of the Towers is known for it's large granite faces, and intense beauty, while Mulligan park has many opportunities for beginners.
The months between June and October are perfect months for the horse enthusiast to visit the Pinedale area. Opportunities to interact with horses range anywhere from viewing the local rodeo, to horseback riding in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, to visiting guest and dude ranches.
Pinedale, Wyoming offers ideal terrain for mountain biking. The season typically lasts from June through September. Riding areas range from remote mountain trails to gravel roads in the open sagebrush desert. The Continental Divide Mountain Biking Trail also traverses Sublette County from Union Pass, running through Cora, Pinedale, and Boulder to the southern end of the Wind River Mountains.
The popular disc golf course is just off the shore of Fremont Lake, called Lakeside Links. Come play at your own pace and enjoy the outdoors!
