The monumental bronze was made possible entirely through the generous donations orchestrated by dedicated local citizens to celebrate the 2008 designation of the first federally protected wildlife corridor in the United States, the Path of the Pronghorn. This corridor protects one of the longest terrestrial mammal migrations in North America and the longest left in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
