Soda Lake is one of western Wyoming's more unique lakes...

  1. The lake is an entirely closed basin without an inlet or outlet.
  2. During wet periods when water levels are high, Soda Lake offers a significant benefit for the angler. Though the fish may be limited because of this natural habitat, the brook and brown trout that thrive here are often of trophy quality.
  3. ORV and non-motorized boating recreation offers wide open and scenic vistas of the Wind River Range and Fremont Peak (the 3rd highest point in Wyoming).
