Pinedale's historical reenactment brings together famous mountain men, Plains Indians, Father Joseph DeSmet and many others who played a pivotal role in opening commerce in the American west. It is proudly hosted by the Green River Rendezvous Pageant Association members who are dressed in historically accurate, authentic costumes from the Rocky Mountain Fur Trade era. The annual pageant is a one of the most visited cultural events in Wyoming, definitely a must see! Spectators are encouraged to take this experience to the next level by interacting with historians and re-enactors.
